John D. Moffatt, age 69, of Fenton, died Tues. Feb. 22, 2022. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 PM Mon. Feb. 28, 2022 at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly with Pastor Ed Pedley officiating. Visitation will be from 3-5 prior to the service on Monday. John was born in Detroit on Jan. 23, 1953 to John and Carol (Griffin) Moffatt. He worked for GM for over 44 years at the GM Fisher Body Coldwater Plant and the Pontiac SPO Plant where he retired. He was a former member of the Holly Moose. John loved golfing, boating, going to casinos and traveling. He also loved watching his kids and grandkids in sports and coaching and refereeing hockey. He is survived by his wife Debbie; 3 children, Shawn Moffatt, Ryan Moffatt, and Kyle (Beth) Moffatt; 4 grandchildren, Aubre, Evan, Chase, and Emmersyn; brother Larry (Theresa) Moffatt: and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Terry and his wife Virginia Moffatt. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. www.dryerfuneralhomeholly.com |
