Janice Marie Johnson, age 76, of Saginaw, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, in Saginaw. The daughter of John and Rose Johnson, Janice was born on July 1, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan.
Janice loved gardening and cooking. Her faith was very important to her and she enjoyed singing at her church. She was also an active volunteer with local nursing homes.
Janice is survived by her beloved children, Ginger (Tom) LaCross, Amy (Graham) Compton, Julie Rivett, Daniel Rivett, Jamie Farzam, and Jessica Wagner; grandchildren, Patrick Rivett, Christian LaCross, Seth LaCross, Meghan Matekel, Nolan Matekel, Andrew Matekel, Simone Fulchiron-Rivett, Koen Fulchiron-Rivett, Logan Geno, Cara Geno, Kaulin Geno, Daniel Moncada, David Moncada, Emily Moncada, and Ella Moncada; great grandchildren, Rowen Rivett and Madeline LaCross; siblings, Patricia Johnson and Daniel Johnson; several nieces and nephews; many cousins; and a dear friend, Rita Wright-Owens. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a private gathering to celebrate her life.
