Shreve, Marion - of Mount Morris, age 70, passed away June 9th, 2021 at McLaren Flint hospital. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. A life celebration honoring Marion is to take place on a later date with close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries of Flint.
Marion was born on February 13th, 1951 in Flint, to the late Francis and Doris (King) O’ Hearn and is one of four children. She graduated from Mount Morris High School in 1969, and has since kept in touch with several friends. Marion was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Church on Center Road. She was outgoing and friendly, Marion had a notable memory and never met a stranger, she loved her time spent visiting loved ones. Above all, her life revolved around her family and grandchildren.
Marion is survived by: Children: Connie (Brian) Wicker, and Tara Shreve; Siblings: Rosalie (Bob) Wiederman, and Charles O’Hearn; Granddaughters: Madison and Morgan Wicker; and several nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her Parents, Francis and Doris (King) O’Hearn, and Sister, Shirley Bayless. Marion’s family wishes to sincerely thank McLaren Flint hospital and McLaren hospice staff for the exceptional care and support given, specifically thanking CCU nurses, Amanda, Danielle, and Eric, as well as hospice nurse, Julie.
