STAUDACHER, Thomas James "Tom" - Age 80, of Fenton, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Mr. Tim Goyette, a friend of the family officiating. His service will be live streamed and may be viewed on his obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com Visitation 3:00pm - 7:00 pm Monday, January 20, 2025 and 10:00am on Tuesday, January 21st until the time of Service at the Funeral Home. A Sharing Service will begin at 5:30pm on Monday evening during visitation. This service will also be livestreamed and may be viewed on Tom's obituary page. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to The St. John Catholic Church Outreach of Fenton or Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority to support victims of domestic violence.

Tom was born July 28, 1944 in Bay City, the son of Harold and Alice (Kolka) Staudacher. He married Judith Ann Wittbrodt in Flint on September 3, 1966. Tom graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1962. He later graduated from Flint Junior College and Central Michigan University (Fire up chips!) in 1968. He began his career at GM in 1968, retiring in 1996 as Director of Labor Relations. Tom was the founder of the St. John Fenton Applefest Road Race, a long time member of the Fenton Moose Lodge, loved lake living and a resident on Lake Fenton for 40 years. He looked forward to his ROMEO (retired old men eating out) time and enjoyed running, golfing, boating, swimming and water skiing. He was a huge fan of U of M sports, Detroit Lions and Tigers, an avid fan of college and high school sports and especially took pride in watching his grandchildren play volleyball, soccer, swimming, baseball, basketball and hockey.

Tom is survived by his wife, Judy Staudacher; sons, Thom (Gina) Staudacher, and Todd (Kim) Staudacher; grandchildren, Sadie (Richard) Matrassi, Paige (Ryan) Kosmynka, Francine (Rance) Hennessey, Matthew Staudacher, Ethan Staudacher, and Ellen Staudacher; brothers, Jon (Cookie) Staudacher, and Kent Staudacher; In-Laws, Tony (Kathy) Wittbrodt, Liz (Bob) Zirnhelt, Ray Wittbrodt, Patrick (Debbie) Wittbrodt, Nanci (Keith) Norman, Richard (Amy) Wittbrodt, Steve (Mary) Wittbrodt, and Matthew (Michele) Wittbrodt; and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; In-Laws, Donny Wittbrodt, Annie Sisovsky, and Mary Jo Asp. The Staudacher Family would like to thank the 2 South patient care staff at Henry Ford Genesy Hospital for the wonderful care that was provided to Tom.
