GALLE, Chris L. of Flint, age 68 died Monday, March 18, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Family will receive visitors at O'Quinn Family Funeral Home, on Monday, March 25, 2019, beginning at 12 noon. Services will be held at 5 pm with Military honors to be conducted under the direction of VFW Post #1452. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions maybe made to ASPCA or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital
Chris was born February 7, 1951 to Gilbert (Roy) and Luella Galle. In 1969, Chris graduated from Northwestern High School. On June 4, 1971, at Fenton, St. Johns Catholic church, he married his high school sweetheart Kathy. Chris proudly served in the United States Army from 1971-1975. In 1999, Chris retired from AC Spark Plug after 30 years of service. He was a member of UAW Local #651 and a previous member of the Moose Lodge #2344. Chris loved the outdoors. He was a avid snowmobiler, taking walkes with his dogs, and camping on the Ausable river. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing, campfires, boating, skiing and John Wayne movies. Chris loved animals of all kinds. His beloved Sheltie, Candy who was always at his side Molly, Angel, Sadie and Cuddles. Most recently his kittens Riley and Boo boo.
Surviving are: Wife, Kathy Galle; Children: Heather (Bobby Juno) Galle-Brown, David (Crystal Crites) Galle, and Tim (Caitlin Edwards) Galle; Grandchildren: Joshua Brown, Caleb Brown, Ella Brown, Jordan Brown, Logan Galle, Austin Galle, Caden Galle, Savanah Galle, Alyssa Galle, KC Galle, Dylan Lufkin, and Elizabeth Lufkin; Mother, Luella Galle; Sister, Carol (Terry) Beelman; Nieces: Julie Beelman and Amanda (Brent “Mountain man”) Sigg.
