ACKER, Jacqueline – Of Flint, formerly of Swartz Creek, age 79, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 25, 2022.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dan Bowman officiating.
Burial in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jacqueline was born in Saginaw, Michigan on May 15, 1942, the daughter of Arthur and Celia (Hiltz) Mohnk.
Jacqueline was a 1960 graduate of Arthur Hill in Saginaw.
She was a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church.
She was an avid crafter and seamstress and enjoyed camping. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are son, Earl (Stephanie) Acker of Macomb;
daughter, Heidi (Sean) Adams of Bear Lake;
grandchildren, Katelyn (Dallas) Hearit of Warren, Jonathan Adams of Bear Lake, Adam (Samantha) Acker and Chloe Acker, all of Macomb;
great-grandbaby girl on her way;
sister, Barbara Stelzriede of Saginaw;
sister-in-law, Judy Mohnk of Burt;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; brother, Richard Mohnk; 2 sisters, Patricia Neitzke and Marilyn Micinski;
brothers-in-law, Robert Micinski and Robert Steltzriede.
