DOUGLAS, Sharon M. – Of Grand Blanc, age 79, died Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Henry Ford Hospital.

Memorial visitation will be held 4-7pm Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.

Sharon was born in Flint, Michigan on February 6, 1942, the daughter of the late Joseph and Luella (Breakiron) Bleicher. Sharon married her sweetheart Ronald G. Douglas in 1960, and as Ron states, she was strong-willed enough to put up with him for just short of 61 beautiful years. She was an avid volunteer for Friends of Holly. Sharon also enjoyed camping for many years at Holly Recreation Area with her family and friends. Sharon was the best at getting anyone around her to smile and laugh.

Surviving are husband, Ronald G. Douglas;

Children, Ronald J. Douglas, Christine (James) Mays and Carriann (Jim) Birchmeier;

Grandchildren, Samantha (Duane) Holstine, Scott Birchmeier and Michelle (Derrick) Whitaker;

Great-grandchildren, Gage Whitaker, Alexander Whitaker, Caroline Mays, Charlotte Mays and Jasper Holstine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Luella Bleicher, daughter, Lynnmarie Johnson, son-in-law, Michael Johnson and granddaughter, Noelle Douglas.
