Joyce Ann Brennan, age 95, of Davison, MI, passed away September 28, 2023, in Lapeer County Medical Care. Funeral service will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at The New Dawn Memorial Chapel, 1569 S. Elba Rd, Lapeer, MI. Family will receive visitors Monday, Oct 2, from 6-8pm at The New Dawn Chapel and from 11am, Tuesday morning until time of service. Burial in Meadowview Cemetery, Davison, MI. Pastor Sarah LaRose Nettell officiating. Joyce was born August 12, 1928, the daughter of Fred and Mable (Comstock) Shilling. She was joined in marriage to Eugene “Tom” Brennan Sr. December 21, 1946. Joyce loved country music, crocheting, knitting, long walks and fishing with her husband Tom. Surviving is son Eugene Jr. (Kathy) Brennan, sister-in-law Sherry Brennan, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, special friends Nancy, Rod and Joyce. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene “Tom”, sons Thomas, Richard and Brian and 4 siblings. Family wishes to thank Sheila and Fallon at the Rose Cottage and special thanks to the wonderful staff from 2 North at the Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. |
