HUNT, Patsy S. “Pat”- Of Clio, age 80, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023 at the Cottages of Davison.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Burial will follow the service at Flint Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday, November 1st and also 10:00am on Thursday until the time of service.
Pat was born in Rector, Arkansas on April 24, 1943 the daughter of the late Alva Byron and Ava Nell (Johnson) Taylor. She graduated from Flint Northern High School. On August 26, 1961 she married Bruce Alan Hunt and they celebrated over 62 wonderful years together. Pat was the office manager of two medical facilities, Oakland Diagnostic Center and Breast Care of Southfield. She was also a long-time therapy dog and hospice volunteer for Heartland Hospice. She was so proud to be nominated the Volunteer of the Year in 2007. Pat enjoyed cross-stitching, RV camping and spending winters in Hilton Head, South Carolina for 15 years. She loved all of her dogs, shopping and anything Elvis. Pat was a beautiful woman and always liked to look her best. Above all else, family was most important to Pat and they will dearly miss her.
Left to cherish Pat’s memory are husband, Bruce Hunt;
Children, Mark (Tina) Hunt and Staci (Fred Gulick) Hunt;
Grandchildren, Brian (Claire Wroblewski) Hunt, Andrew (Nikki) Crane and Nicholas Crane;
Great-grandson, Theo Crane;
And sister, Gatha Buckey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Ava Nell Taylor.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Cottages of Davison for their excellent care.
