ROWE, Richard Miles - Age 98, of Linden, passed away October 2, 2024. No services will be held. Interment will take place at Circle Cemetery in Hudson, IN. Richard was born December 23, 1925 in Stroh, IN, the son of Allen Franklin and Lucile Cary (Nelson) Rowe. He married Viola Patton on November 24, 1949 in Hudson, IN; she preceded him in death on October 20, 2020. Richard was a veteran of the US Army, serving in WWII. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Following retirement, they lived in Florida for 30 years before returning to Linden in 2011. Richard is survived by his children, Sonja (Roger) Fitterer, Dennis (Patti) Rowe, Daniel (Mary Brasher) Rowe; seven grandson, Robert, Chad, Matt, Justin, Aaron, Austin and Jacob; 14 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael on July 15, 2024; two sisters and a brother. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
