Berta L. Hudson, age 82, formerly of Holly, died Wed. Aug. 9, 2023. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tues. Aug. 15, 2023 at Olive Branch Cemetery, Holly with Pastor Phillip Martyn officiating. She was born in Pontiac on March 27, 1941 to Bert and Ruth (Diller) Cooper. She was a former employee of the Holly Tree Florist, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holly, and was a volunteer with the Forgotten Harvest Program. She loved gardening and animals, and she especially loved her Mastiff, Moses. Surviving are 3 children, Lori Joyner, Brian Hudson, and Heidi (George) Hudson Rupert; husband James Hudson; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister Sandra Firestone. She was preceded in death by her daughter Racinda Lee Savich. Memorial donations may be made to Forgotten Harvest or the Genesee County Animal Control.
