TUCKER, Bennie Jr. “Ben” – Of Flint, age 69, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at his home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6,2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
Ben was born in Flint, Michigan on January 23, 1953, the son of Bennie and Lenora Tucker. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School Class of 1971. Ben was a hard worker and dedicated a lot of his time as a concrete contractor. He was also an avid golfer. More than anything, he loved getting together with family for Friday night dinners over the years.
Surviving are father, Bennie Tucker, Sr. (significant other, Lil Karstens);
siblings, Bradley (Jill) of Grand Blanc, Gregory (Judy) of Chesapeake, VA and Randy (Sharon Edgley) Davison, MI;
nieces and nephews, Andrea, Abbie, Summer and Erik;
5 great-nieces;
special friend, Melinda Gibson;
and best friends, Al and Kristine Jory.
Ben was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, Lenora Tucker, and sister-in-law, Brenda.
