Clough, Julia M. of Flushing, age 96, peacefully went to the arms of her loving husband on Friday, August 26, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Julia was born in Flint, Michigan on May 30, 1926, to James and Anna May (Evans) LePard. She went to school and worked in Flint until she met Gilbert Clough. After a five-week courtship, they were married on August 4, 1956, and were together until his death on January 6, 1999.
Julia is survived by her children, Julie and husband Terry, Judy, Gil and wife Lori; grandchildren, Chris and wife Melissa, Jon and wife Heather, Kaitlyn and husband Nick, Rachel; great-grandchildren, Cayden, Mackenzie, Jade; special friends, Ryan, Becki, Karla, Phil, Melody, and John.
A special thank you to care teams, Karla and Phil (you’re the best), doctors, Ahsan, Issawi, Youssef, Grewal, Patel, Magala, and the many nurses who cared for her.
