Lena Juanita Roeher, 78, of Lapeer, died Wednesday October 4, 2023. She was born October 31, 1944 in Saltville, VA to parents Cornelius and Wilma (Hogston) Kelley. Lena married Grant Richard Roeher on June 17, 1961 in Pontiac, Michigan.
In Lena’s day, she enjoyed traveling with Grant to the track to watch horse racing, go to the casino and visit with friends and family. Her brother warmly called her, “Susie homemaker”; she was just so caring to all in her home. She will be missed.
Lena is survived by her daughter: Staci Lynne Roeher of North Branch and brother: Bill (Patricia) Kelly of Waterford. She was preceded in death by her husband: Grant (in 2020), son: Robert Richard Roeher (in 2023), eight siblings as well as her aforementioned parents.
A graveside service will be 2:00pm Monday October 9, 2023 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lapeer. Weather permitting, the family will receive friend & family from 1:45’ish to the service.
