KUCZERA, John – Of Flint, age 75 died Friday, March 11, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2022
at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Cremation will follow.
Visitation 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kuczera will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
John was born in Connelsville, Pennsylvania on November 25, 1946, the son of the late John and Josephine (Getchell) Kuczera.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his military service he went to work as an Electrician for General Motors for many years.
On August 13, 1966 he married Kathleen Daniels and she preceded him in death on December 28, 2019.
John was devoted to his soul mate of 53 years, Kathy.
John was a member of St. Michaels from 1946-2008 and also a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church; his faith was unwavering.
He had a passion for work and enjoyed buying tools.
During his retirement years, he and Kathy loved to travel.
Above all else John was a true family man and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are kids, John and Mary Kuczera,
Dave and Gena Kuczera,
Andy and Sarah Kuczera and Kristen and Erik Csirke;
grandchildren, Kalin (Deborah) Richardson, Trent (Lauren) Richardson, Jessica Kuczera, Emilee Kuczera, Rachel Kuczera, Joseph Csirke, Jacob Csirke and Maddie Kuczera;
great-grandchildren, Mandy Kuczera and Paisley Kuczera; siblings, Tom, Mike, Nancy and Beth;
sister-in-law, Sister Mary Norman.
