LACEY, Clyde Jr. - Of Burton, age 97, died Friday, May 28, 2021
at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
John Cox officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be directed to the Veterans Administration.
Visitation 3-8pm Tuesday and 1pm Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Clyde was born in Leechville, Arkansas on November 22, 1923, the son of the late Clyde and Mayme (Bassett) Lacey. Clyde served his country as a Medic in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed with Fischer I for 38 years. Clyde was an avid member of Hurley Health and Fitness and was also a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ. He also volunteered at Ainsworth High School.
Surviving are children, Linda (Frank) McClain, Kathryn Conley, Barbara (James) Dunn, Richard, Jennifer (Kevin) Myott and Bennett (Kandi) Lacey;
Grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Trevor, Daniel, Savanna, Kayla, Chase and Reece;
Great-grandson, Hunter;
Brother, Joseph (Betty) Lacey;
And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marguerite Lacey and brothers, Nick, Ted and Fred Lacey.
