HILDEBRAND, VIRGINIA– Of Flint Township, age 77, died Thursday July 24, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Reverend Hal Polk officiating.
Visitation will be held at 11am till the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to Hurley Burn Unit.
Burial will be held in Flint Memorial Park.
Virginia (Ginny) was born in Flint, Michigan, on May 25, 1948, the daughter of the late Paul and Edith (Ward) Dial.
Virginia married Joseph Hildebrand on July 8, 1967, in Flint. She was a homemaker for the majority of her children’s early years.
Virginia was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Davison. She was a part of a bunco group that consisted of her very best friends. She was fearless, feisty and sassy. She loved going up north with family and friends. Virginia had a sweet tooth and traditionally made candy for the Christmas holiday and provided big candy bars at Halloween. Virginia loved all of her grandkids and was very supportive of all of their activities. She enjoyed reading and watching the Game Show Network.
Surviving are her children Paula (Kevin)Parker-Kabana, Scott (Charlotte) Hildebrand;
grandkids Jacob Parker and Mackenzie (Matthew) Cergnul, Delaney, Presley and Drew Hildebrand;
one great-grandchild on the way;
brothers, Richard (Marilyn) Dial and Raymond Dial; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (Jody).
