Young, Gregory Dallas - Age 72, of Fenton, died December 29, 2022. Services will be held 12 PM Friday, January 13, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Burial will follow at 2 PM in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of the service at 12 on Friday, January 13. Gregory was born November 22, 1950 in Flint, the son of Dallas and Dorothy (Strassle)Young. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He married Ann Marie Koza on April 26, 1986. He was a member of VFW Post 8236 of Flint, and a member of the Cooties of Fenton. He retired from G.M. Truck and Bus after 32 years of service. Gregory enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and neighbors at their cottage on Lake Huron. He loved collecting, restoring and selling antique games and slot machines. Surviving are wife of 36 years, Ann Marie Young; daughter Angela Marie Everhart-Young (Clifford Everhart); step mother, Nan Young; brothers, Robert Young, Darryl Davis, Ronald Davis, Fred Timmer; sisters Tonya Bray, Amy Timmer; and Fernando Osses, their exchange student who was like a son.
