Dale Herrick, a skilled and dedicated handyman, passed away on Oct 3, 2023, at the age of 60. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, craftsmanship, and a heart full of kindness.
Dale was also known throughout the community for his exceptional talent in fixing, building, and repairing just about anything. His commitment to his craft was unmatched, and he took great pride in his ability to solve problems and make people's lives easier.
Born on May 26, 1963, Dale grew up with a natural knack for fixing things. He turned this passion into a career, becoming the go-to person for countless individuals seeking his help. Whether it was a leaky faucet, a broken window, or a complex home renovation project, Dale was always ready to lend a hand.
Beyond his skills as a handyman, Dale was cherished by those who knew him for his warm and friendly personality. He had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and valued, and his sense of humor could brighten even the toughest of days.
Dale is preceded in death by his wife Annette, sister June, and stepson Terry.
Dale leaves behind to cherish his memory spouse Jackie; daughters, Danielle, and Michelle; sons, Mitchelle and Tyller; stepchildren Nicole, Christina, Arnie, Alaina, and Chris; his mother, Beverly Manor; sisters Jody, Anne, and Marie; brothers John, Marty, and Matthew; numerous grandchildren; and his best friend and business partner, Dave Peters. Who will forever treasure the memories of his unwavering love and support. His legacy will live on in the countless homes and hearts he touched throughout his lifetime.
A memorial service to celebrate Dale's life will be held at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland Street Flint Michigan 48503. The family will receive visitors Thursday, October 19, 2023, and Friday October 20, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, October 21, 2023
In lieu of flowers or donation, the family requests that donations be made to GoFundMe that has been set up on behave of Dale.
Dale will be deeply missed but remembered with love and gratitude for the invaluable contributions he made to our lives. May he rest in peace, knowing that his handiwork and kindness will always be remembered.
