William “Bill”, age 71, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020. He was born February 28, 1949 in Winslow Arizona to the late William and Ruth (Purcell) Cox. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local #599. He enjoyed gardening and traveling, however, what he enjoyed most was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Julianne (Carr) Cox; son, William D. Cox; step-sons, Harold and Jason Ball; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Alan Cox, Alana Thurman, Tom Cox, and Faye Lee; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Nora Cox. A private family service has been held. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Memorial Contributions to the American Cancer Society, 615 Saginaw Street, Flint Michigan.
