METCALF, ROBERT “BOBBY” - Of Flint, age 59, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Cremation has taken place.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Robert was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the son of Jennie Duby and Arthur Duby.
On August 16, 2008 he married Melissa in Flint.
He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Robert loved to golf with his best friend, Mark. Bowling was always fun and he loved to make everyone laugh. He was the life of the party and made sure everyone was having a good time.
Robert was employed by Mr. Bread for 23 years and was always helping others and loved his job.
To know him is to love him. He will be forever loved and missed.

mother-in-law, Arlene Ross;
siblings, Alesia Duby, Audra and Tim Turner, Charlie and Mia Metcalf;
sister-in-law, Carla (Ross) and Randy Meier;
brother-in-law, Carl III and Roberta Ross;
daughter, Denise Baumgart;
step-daughter, Chelsea (Ross) Delbridge-Moiles;
stepson, Justan (Ross) Delbridge-Moiles
step-daughter, Kaitlyn Gilbert and Zack Robinson;
stepson, Justin Gilbert;
grandkids, Ezekiel Robinson and Zoe Robinson;
nieces and nephews, Crystal Duby, Jaliyah Burns, T.J. Cousineau, Kataryna Siciliano, Azia Metcalf, Cayden Turner, Autum Turner, Hadlee Meier, Ryker Meier, Randy Meier, Carl Meier and Jaxson Meier;

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Duby, Jr; mother, Jenie Duby; sister, Bonnie Chaves; grandson, Dean Chaplynn Twiggs and special fur buddy, Spike.
