ULLERY, Sharon Lee - age 80 of Flint, passed away on December 21, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel located at 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan. The service will also be live streamed and can be viewed via the link at the base of this obituary. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sharon to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) or the Genesee County Humane Society (www.geneseehumane.org).
Sharon was born on June 1, 1944 in Menomonie, Wisconsin to the late Edison and Joyce (Hoover) Williams. She graduated from Flint Central High School and married Edward John Ullery on April 16, 1966 in Flint, Michigan. Sharon worked as a Floor Supervisor at JC Penny for 15 years before retirement. She loved wearing sunglasses and she had 40-50 pair, mostly heart shaped. She enjoyed going to the casino, collecting angels, camping and was a special caregiver to many in their time of need. Sharon cherished the time that she spent with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Edward; children, Tina (Edward) Nelson of Clio, Anthony Ullery of Warren; grandchildren, Aaron Nelson and Ashley Nelson; sisters, Victoria Thomas of Idaho and Linda Hammerschmidt of Washington; nieces and nephews.
