Chris Reynolds, a long-time resident of the Chesaning area, passed away on January 22, 2024.
Chris was born to Kenneth and Louise (Weigold) Reynolds on November 3, 1952. He graduated from Chesaning High School class 1970. After high school he met the love of his life Julie Mason. The two got married October 16, 1982. Chris then worked at General Motors for over 40 years before his retirement. A man of many passions, Chris was an avid hunter and farmer, with a particular fondness for John Deere tractors. He even collected toy tractors, a testament to his enduring love for these machines. Chris also enjoyed playing baseball and softball during his younger years. Known for his outgoing personality, Chris could strike up a conversation with anyone, making him a beloved friend and neighbor to many. He was also a proud member of the Old Gas Tractor Association for several years, a testament to his lifelong interest in tractors and farming.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Reynolds; Children, Bob (Casey) Mason, Chris Reynolds Jr. and Tyler Reynolds; Grandchildren Trent and Logan; Siblings, Connie (Jerry) McDougall, Jim (Marylin) Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Louise Reynolds.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00am at McGeehan Funeral Homes, Martin Chapel. Burial will follow at Marion Springs cemetery. Visitation to be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 2:00pm to 7:00 pm at McGeehan Funeral Homes, Martin Chapel.
