GRANTHAM, Norma Fay – Of Flint, age 86, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Jeffrey Glover officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harmony Baptist Church.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Norma was born in Flint, Michigan on June 26, 1935, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Annie (Petit) Smethwick.
On December 10, 1955 she married Reverend John Grantham.
Norma was a minister’s wife for 50 years and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
She enjoyed singing, loved the Lord and especially loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are husband, Reverend John Grantham;
son, Mark and wife Debbie Grantham;
grandchildren, Stephanie, Johanna and Adam Grantham, Jena and husband Austin Cook, Taylor Grantham and Dylan Grantham;
great-grandchildren, Gaven, Gracyn, Emmerie, Levi and Stella;
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Timothy Lee and Stephen Allan; brothers and sisters.
