White, Ethel E. – of Flushing, age 89, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Maple Woods Manor. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, with Jimmy Bagwell, officiating. Burial follows at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Flushing Point Church of Christ or to the charity of your choice. Surviving are: children, Delbert L. White and wife Susan of Millington, Janice Berry White of Flushing, Karen Wakefield and husband George of Alabama, Shirley Campbell and husband Roger of Flushing, David White and wife Balinda of Flint, and Richard White of Flushing; many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Junior Newton; sister, Betty Newton; and her dog, Pebbles. Mrs. White was married to Albert L. White, Sr. and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1970; she was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert Glen White and Albert White, Jr. and by grandson, James A. Bruckner; and her parents and several brothers and sisters. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of Maple Woods Manor and to Mother Goose (you know who you are).
