KETCHUM, Patty Ann – Of Burton, age 66, died Monday, September 19, 2022 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Tina Koon officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Visitation 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Patricia was born in Flint, Michigan on April 3, 1956, the daughter of the late Edward and Barbara (Greenman) Shank.
On August 9, 1993 she married Paul Ketchum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Patty was community ma, “everyone that knew her called her ma”. She never turned anyone away and helped every one she could. She was a good listener, liked to chat at the table and liked the outdoors and gardening.
Patty was very crafty, made candy, was a good cook and always had a smile and possessed a magnetic personality. People were drawn to her naturally. Her world revolved around her kids and grandchildren, who called her Grammy, always ready to talk.
Surviving are her husband, Paul;
children, Jim (Stacy) Colley,
James (Christy) Haskins,
Garrett (Cristi) Williams,
Eric (Michelle) Ketchum and
Keeghan (Lee) Williams;
grandchildren, Jewell, Garrett, Jimmy III, Aden, Jersey, Evie, Liam, Lex, Ryder, Alex, Jacy, Carlie, Law, Dodge, Liv and Jhett;
sisters, Carol and Janet;
niece, Christina (JD) Bowen.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Steven.
