Pless, Lynne Margaret of Flushing, formerly of Grand Rapids, age 51, passed away to her heavenly Father surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at her home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2014, at St. Robert Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry St., Flushing. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass, Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flushing Relay for Life or McLaren Hospice.
Lynne was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 15, 1963, the daughter of George and Shirley (Morin) Krupp. She married Scott Pless on March 19, 1982, in Grand Rapids. Lynne was devoted to her therapy dogs, Amber and Brandy and made frequent visits with them throughout the community. She was an avid supporter of the Flushing Relay for Life Celebration.
Lynne leaves to mourn, her husband of 32 years, Scott; daughter, Amanda and husband Christopher Sansing and granddaughter, Kayla Sansing; son, Bryan Pless; sister, Anne (Larry) Markoski; brother, Greg (Linda Carrington) Krupp; parents-in-law, Edward and Janice Pless and an overwhelming number of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
