PAULEY, Michael D. – Of Swartz Creek, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in West Branch, Michigan.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Clarence Lee officiating. Cremation will take place following the service.
The family will receive friends from 3:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday, April 11th and from 10:00am on Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Mike was born in Flint, Michigan on April 19th, 1960, the son of the late Bernard and Evelyn (Lighthall) Pauley. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School Class of 1978. He went on to work at General Motors Flint Metal Center for 41 years, retiring in 2020. He met his wife Jill when they were in high school and they were married in 1980. Together they had their son, Michael. Mike enjoyed hunting, golfing, learning to cook and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are wife, Jill Pauley;
Son, Michael (Suzanne) Pauley;
Mother-in-law, Kay;
Grand-dog, Peanut;
And many family and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Evelyn Pauley; father-in-law, Larry and sister, Debbie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made in Mike’s memory to the American Cancer Society, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or an organization of importance to you.
The family would like to thank the Maylum, Badal and Fondren families for all their love and support.
