LINDMAN, Thomas C., Jr. – Of Clio, age 63, died Monday, June 29, 2020 at his residence.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Thomas was born in Flint, Michigan on November 15, 1956.

Tom attended St. John Vianney and Luke M. Powers Catholic Schools and retired from General Motors.

Tom had a big heart and was a caring son, brother and uncle. He possessed a very strong love for his mother and family.

He shared his passion and knowledge of vehicles with his nieces and nephews. As a true native of Flint, he combined that enthusiasm with his delight for collecting real and miniature cars as well as trucks and motorcycles. He especially enjoyed his C3 Stingray and 96 Collector’s Edition C4 Corvette, not to forget his total love of collecting Harley Davidson memorabilia. He treasured his relaxation by a campfire or on the water at his cabin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas C. Lindman, M.D.; grand-nephew, Sidney Lindman and cousin, Michael Lindman.

Survived by Tom’s loving mother, Marilyn;

Ten loving brothers and sisters; Mark (Pam) of Canton, MI, Cathy (David) Richter of Watertown, MN, Jerry (Nancy) of E. Lansing, Joan (Neil) Sullivan of Santa Barbara, CA, Mary (Joern) Baecker of Bad Bederkesa, Germany, Matt of Portage, WI, Amy (loving friend, Tony) of Hope, MI, Marilyn (Charles) Goodhart of Boiling Springs, PA, Jim of Detroit and Ann (John) Telling of Acworth, GA;

nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly and doted on; Brian (Robin) of Boise, ID, Chris (Shannon) of Livonia, Jason (Cendrine) of Rouen, France, Andrea (Ashley) Richter-Garry of Indianapolis, Katelin (David) Richter Davis of Minneapolis, Thomas (loving friend, Carrie) of Seattle, Margaret (loving friend, Tim of Portland, ME, Joern Baecker (loving friend, Sophia) of Bremen, Germany, Patrick of Portage, WI, Natalie of Milwaukee, Cathie (Matt) Mroczkowski of Traverse City, Madeline Goodhart of Boiling Springs, Eric of Columbus, OH, Carl of Taylor, MI, Meghan and Matthew Telling of Acworth, GA;

grand-nieces and nephews; Parker, Morgan, Charlie, Anna, Benjamin, Beckett Garry, Coleman and Edie Mroczkowski, Cecilia, Jackson and Amelia;

loving cousins, Laura Lindman Budd, who used to visit from Chicago in the summer to babysit her cousins;

Ted Lindman, loving cousin and Tom’s fellow traveler to NASCAR races and Corvette shows all around the country.

Tom will be missed by all.
