Age 96 of Owosso passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at Welcome Home Assisted Living.
Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, October 23, 2023 at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Randal Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm.
Ray was born November 2, 1926 in Brant, the son of Leonard and Juanita (Bennett) Hildebrant.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and the American Legion.
Ray married Edna May Korth at Christ Lutheran Church on May 16, 1959.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired from Consumers Energy after 34 years of service.
Ray is survived by his children Andrew J. (Rebecca) Hildebrant and Debra L. (Tim) Morris; grandchildren Andrew R. (Michelle) Hildebrant, Jacob (Katurina) Hildebrant, Michael (Samantha) Hildebrant, Adam (Shannon) Marriage and Juanita Marriage; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Lawrence (Sylvia) Hildebrant, Frank (LaWonda) Hildebrant, and Kenneth (Janet) Hildebrant; sisters Zela Seaton and Beulah Underhill; other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife; daughter Juanita; brothers Jerry and Ron Hildebrant; sister Lenora Rowell.
