COURTER, Dale H. – Of Mt. Morris, age 88, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Private service will be held.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Dale was born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on January 4, 1934, the son of the late Howard and Nellie (Crawford) Courter.
On June 27, 1987 he married Patsy Verhegghe in Mt Morris, Michigan.
Dale retired from GM after 30 years of service, retiring from Chevy in the Hole in 1985.
He enjoyed traveling, camping and NASCAR.
Surviving are wife, Patsy;
step-children, Debbie Nowosielski and Mark Verhegghe;
grandchildren, Kevin Nowosielski, Keith Nowosielski, Mark Nowosielski and Jordan Verhegghe;
1 niece and 2 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Loretta; sister, Patricia Webster and one nephew.
