FINKBEINER, Don Edwin- of Caro, age 75, died Thursday, November 11, 2021, at McLaren Lapeer Hospital, Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 18, 2021, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Clio. Brother Brian Silvey officiating, Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris, Michigan.
Don was born on November 25, 1945, to the late Muriel and Mary Finkbeiner. After graduating from Clio High School, Don served in the US Army from 1965-1967. During his time of service, he was awarded National Defense Service Medal Marksman. A Vietnam Campaign medal and a Vietnam Service medal. Don was baptized as one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 22, 1969. He loved to share his faith and hope with others. Don was family oriented, enjoyed family gatherings, watching sporting events, fishing, traveling and talked about his knowledge and experiences of being raised on the family farm. Don was a caring brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Brothers, Harold Finkbeiner, Robert Finkbeiner, Joseph Finkbeiner, David Finkbeiner. Sisters, Joyce Wilburn, Carol ( Terry) Zaremba, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Delores Gadany, Dorothy Kotlark, Brothers; Bernie Finkbeiner and Howard Finkbeiner.
