KEYES, Roderick – of Flint, MI, age 81, passed away on November 11, 2022. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
Roderick was born in Flint, MI on October 6, 1941, son of the late Richard and Grethel (Wilson) Keyes. He graduated from Central High School in 1959. Roderick proudly served his country with the U.S. Army from 1959 - 1962. In 1962, he married Lorraine Slann and began a career at General Motors where he worked for 30 years before retiring. Rod loved to hunt and fish; play cards and he was a very good pool player. Roderick also loved to dance and was known to “cut a rug”. He enjoyed spending time with his family, visiting family throughout the week, especially at dinner time!
Roderick is survived by son, Richard (Charlene) Keyes, daughter, Stephanie (Henry) Goodman; grandchildren, Kevin, Derrick, Aaron, Josh, Ryan, Melissa and Annie; many great grandchildren; sister, Pat Moffit; many other loving family members and friends.
