Mr. Chester M. Ford, 67, of Toledo, OH, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in his home. He worked out of Local # 500 Laborer’s Union until he became disabled. He was the widower of Deloris. Surviving are son, Steven A. Gaston of Flint, MI; daughter, LaJewell (Clifford) Williams of Warner Robins, GA; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Autrey (Anna) Wright of Detroit, MI and George (Josie) Ford of Toledo; sisters, Ruth Brown of Toledo and Mary Curtis Freeman of Memphis, TN; sister in law, Emma Phillips and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends. Family Hour 2 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 with Memorial Services at 3 p.m. in The C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 1629 Nebraska Avenue. Brother Autrey Wright, Officiant.
