WINTERS, Norma Gean – of Davison, age 91, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, at Charter Senior Living of Davison. The family will welcome visitors on Wednesday, December 17 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association in Norma’s memory.
Norma was born on January 13, 1934, in Macomb County, Michigan, daughter of the late
Clarence and Helen (Mohr) Kleinow. Norma met the love of her life, Richard Bruce Winters, during their time at Flint Central High School, where she was a 1952 graduate. The two were married on September 17, 1955, beginning a partnership marked by devotion and unwavering mutual support. Together they raised three extraordinary sons.
Norma lived a life of thoughtful, steady service. She was an active member of the Davison
Historical Society, Gleaners, and the Mid-Michigan Pond and Water Gardening Club. She had a deep interest in genealogy, serving as a devoted volunteer at the Flint Genealogical Society and was a proud member of Daughters of the American Revolution. Norma was a faithful supporter of numerous philanthropic causes. Her impact will continue to be felt by the many organizations and individuals touched by her kindness.
Norma is survived by her sons, Richard (LaDonna) Winters and Russell (Cindy) Winters; her
grandchildren Jessica (Robert) Bacon, Chelsea (Jeffrey) Duncan, Amanda (Ryan) Livezey,
Noelle (Colin) Goss, Wesley (Kady) Winters; great grandchildren Lauren, Brighton, Pierson,
Evelyn, Jack, Remy, and Coleman; and daughter-in-law, Vicky Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Winters; her son, Ronald Winters; and her grandson, Trey Winters.
