Carol Judith Noye, “Judy” age 83, of Fenton, passed away on April 4, 2022. Judy was born September 1, 1938, in Hancock, Michigan to Weldon & Elona (nee: Storves) Noye.
Judy’s family moved to the Flint area while Judy was quite young. She started and finished her education in Flint, graduating from Central High School. She went on to have a lifelong career at McLaren Hospital, beginning at age 16 working in dietary. She enrolled in a Medical Records program at St. Mary’s College in Nebraska and then returned to McLaren Hospital, eventually retiring as director of Medial Records. It was then that she moved from Flint to Fenton. Judy was an accomplished pianist and vocalist. She also played the recorder and autoharp. Judy organized various singing groups that entertained at McLaren Hospital and nursing homes in the Flint area. She was a member of the Carolyn Mawby Chorale and of Court Street United Methodist Church. Judy loved to needlepoint and was an excellent cook!
Left to cherish her memory are nephew, Andy (Cynthia) Noye; nieces, Kate (Darren) Cartwright and Mary (Rich) Conley; great nieces, Emily, Reilly, Piper, Claire; great nephews, Jackson and Jack. Judy also leaves longtime friend, Dottie Broomfield, cousins and dear friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Noye; fiancé Bill Hogston; close friends, Carolyn Mawby and Cleo Silver.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 22, 11am at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 West Court St., Flint, with visitation beginning at 10 am until time of service. Pastors, Jeremy Peters and Steve Buck officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Crossover Outreach in Flint, or the charity of your choice.
