ZIEBA, Steven T., age 72 of Byron, formerly of Flushing, passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2024. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Steven to the American Cancer Society (www.donate.cancer.org).
Steven was born on November 4, 1951 in Flint, Michigan to the late Edward and Marion (Kozlouski) Zieba. He graduated from Flushing High School in 1970 and married Christine Malmstrom on December 10, 1982 in Flint, Michigan. Steven retired from General Motors in 2003 after over 30 years of service and was a member of the Durand Amvets #2273 and Durand Moose #2508. He enjoyed maintaining his yard, a cold beer and time spent at the river.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Chris. Children, Scott Zieba, and his children, of Arizona; Michael (Alisha) LaLonde of Medford, OR; Heather Wiegel, and her son; Cooper, of Byron. Brothers, John (Deidre) Zieba of TN and Doug (Donna) Zieba of Dallas. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Edward; and his nephew, Joe.
