MERRILL (OSBORNE), Peggy C. – Of Durand, age 71, died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Private Celebration of her life will take place at Swartz Funeral Home.
Cremation has taken place.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Peggy was born in Caretta, West Virginia on December 27, 1948, the daughter of Chester and Josephine (Hicks) Osborne.
In 1981 she married Arnol and he preceded her in death in 2003.
Peggy as a nurse, worked at Flint Osteopathic Hospital for many years and also taught at Mott Community College.
She also traveled to Indonesia to teach children, which she was really proud of.
Above all else, she loved being with her family.
Surviving are sons, Chris (Sharon) Scott and Casey (Christin) Scott;
grandchildren, Finn, Daniel, Dakota, Bree and Emmah;
mother, Josephine;
sister, Cindy and
brother, Bud (Karen) Osborne.
She was preceded in death by her father, Chester; siblings, Denny and Debbie and nephew, Ritchie.
