HOUGH, William Harris “Bill” - age 81, died Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his residence in Florida.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Father David Parsch officiating.
Entombment at Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
William was born in Dexter, Missouri on December 27, 1942, the son of the late Ila William Hough and Vivian Katherine Harris. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army. On June 17, 1967, he married Judith Ann Tomczak. Bill was employed with General Motors-Buick in skilled trades for over 30 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Bill enjoyed playing golf, pontooning with his family, fishing, and deer hunting. He was a huge U of M and a loyal Detroit Lions fan. Above all else, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are wife, Judie;
son, Jason (Teresa);
grandson, Spencer;
granddaughter, Lilly;
sister, Brenda (Ron) Fenner;
special sister-in-law, Debra and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Schuette and their children, Chad and Jessica, Dustin (deceased);
brother-in-law, Larry (Cheryl) Tomczak and their daughters, Danielle and Ashleigh;
special nieces and nephews, Vivian, Mark, Denise, Ronnie and Lisa.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Harvey, nephew, Michael Shelby.
