SARR, Joyce - Of Grand Blanc, age 71, died Sunday, June 22, 2014 at McLaren-Flint.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremains to be interred in Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet, Illinois.
Visitation 12pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Joyce was born in Gothenburg, Nebraska on October 5, 1942, the daughter of Eugene and Helen (Davis) Giboney. She was employed with General Motors as a tool maker, retiring after 30 plus years of service. She enjoyed an afternoon on the boat being with her family and her dogs and fishing. She also enjoyed sewing.
Surviving are son Kent Sarr and daughter Ragenia Sarr;
brothers, Rodney, Larry and Terry Giboney.
She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell in 1975, daughter, Michelle, brothers, Laverne and Bob and sister, Sharon.
