DELLING (AITKENS), Pauline – Of Flint, age 67, died Saturday, February 12, 2022 at U Of M Hospitals.
Per Pauline’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life dinner will be held from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the VFW Hall, 2260 Belsay Road, Burton, MI 48519.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to University of Michigan Hospitals.
Pauline enjoyed and was a very competitive person in volleyball, Euchre and Texas Holdem Poker and other card games.
She was a member of the Flint Women’s Volleyball League for 14 years.
She loved sewing and making things for people’s home.
She was very involved in all aspects of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives; running everyone to appointments, grocery store, school and all around town. Pauline was even a babysitter to her great-grandchildren whenever needed.
Her children were her best friends. She would put a meal together with basics. We came home to a home cooked meal every day.
Pauline worked as a hairdresser for 37 years and Real Estate agent and was a hardworker.
Pauline is survived by fiance’ Brian Hall;
children, Charles (Tracey) Delling, Jack Delling, Amy Delling and Crystal (David) Peel;
6 grandchildren, Kelsey Anderson, Heidi (Tyler) Delling, Maryann (Jeremy) Mitchell, Austin Lester, Madison Delling and Jacob Delling;
4 great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Jayden, Kason and Kingsley;
brother, John (Denise) Aitkens; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends.
