RASHMAWI, Sally – Of Grand Blanc, age 46, died Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL, due to an automobile accident.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Road, Flint, Father Amin Houli officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. George Orthodox Church.
Visitation 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at church.
Sally was born in Flint, Michigan on February 22, 1979, the daughter of Salim and Rahmeh Rashmawi.
She graduated from Flushing High School in 1997. Sally earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from U of M Flint.
She worked as a Registered Nurse in various medical offices throughout the Flint area.
Sally enjoyed traveling, watching movies, attending concerts and loved her dogs. She was a very social person, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
Surviving are parents, Salim (Sam) and Rahmeh Rashmawi;
brother, Abe Rashmawi;
several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her dog, Harlee.
She was preceded in death by her dog, Phinn.
