WALLBERG, James “Jim” – of Davison, age 75, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint St., Davison MI 48423. Pastor Todd Frusti will officiate. The family will receive visitors the hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to Outreach East or Trinity Lutheran Church.
Jim was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on June 9, 1945, son of the late Alton and Mildred (Wahling) Wallberg. He married Alice Chaput on October 2, 1971. Jim retired from Davison Community Schools after 30 years of teaching. He then worked at Ace Hardware for the past 22 years. Jim was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved his family, grandchildren and was always there for them.
Jim will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his wife, Alice; son, Joshua, daughter-in-law, Roselyn; grandchildren, Addison, Aubrey and Gus; sisters-in-law, Carol and Ursula; brother, Rodney and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher.
