Louis James Winn

Born: 7/23/1972
Died: 5/26/2021
Age: 48
Community: Mt. Morris, MI

Winn, Louis James a wild spirit with a heart full of love for life and family, left this world on May 26, 2021, much to the sorrow of his family and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 1, 2021, from 10-5pm at The Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center 901 Garland St. Flint MI 48503. Louis was born in Flint Michigan and spent his life in the area, working in the food industry and at Sam’s Club. He enjoyed camping in northern Michigan, especially at the Old Orchard Campground in Oscoda. He loved traveling to many different places with his family and the time he spent at Cedar Point. Louis was a lifelong fan of U of M football and always rooted for the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Red Wings, and the Detroit Tigers. He was also happy to play basketball, anytime. But most of all, Louis loved time he could be with family and friends whether it was for the holidays or to just hang out together. He had an easy, sparkling smile that would always feel happy and a laugh that was contagious! The best of all, there was that mischievous twinkle in his eye! Now, if you look, into the night sky, you are likely to see that twinkle and know right where Louis is. Louis leaves to cherish his memory, his son James, mother Lynn and John Clemmons, sister Michelle (Jeff) Powell and Crystal, brother Christopher Winn, nieces Lauryn Schreiber and Mackenzie Powell, nephew Jaxon Powell and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Louis is preceded in death by his three best friends, his brother Gerry (Bucka), dad Gerald, cousin Jimmy Winn, grandparents Louis and Grace Lawson, James and Mabel Winn, cousin shonnah Winn and Uncle Paul Lawson.
