Linda Sue (Miller) LaPorte, age 64, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
Linda was born February 15, 1960, in Lansing, Michigan. She was the daughter of Samuel W. Miller and Marian E. Miller, and sister to Janet Gagner. She worked in many different fields, but enjoyed her work in the medical field as a certified medical assistant as well as a line worker at Hatch Factory. Linda graduated from Carmen in 1978 and later earned her certification in medical assisting from Ross. She married her high school friend Dan LaPorte in 2015. Linda was a fiercely devoted wife, mother and grandmother until the very end. She enjoyed painting, music, stock car races, football, sewing and cross stitch. Her faith in the Lord never wavered and she instilled these values in her children and grandchildren. Linda will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory her husband Dan LaPorte, sister Janet Gagner, children: Sasha Hart, Seth Andres (Jessica), Tessa Andres and Cole Gagner; stepmother to Angelina (Matt) Wells, Derek LaPorte (Madison), and Hannah LaPorte (Clyde); grandchildren: Mya, Leaha, Gabrielle and Jacob. She was a mother by choice to Nathan Viecelli (Audrey) and Miranda Myers; nephew Sam Smarszcz (Monica); and countless other loved ones and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother Marian Miller and father Samuel Miller.
A funeral visitation for Linda will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Reigle Funeral Home - 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan. |
