WOLFE, Shirley Lou - age 92, of Fenton, died June 24, 2021. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Saturday and 12 - 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Samaritans Purse. Shirley was born February 20, 1929 in Kingston, MI, the daughter of Fred and Nellie (Peter) Cooper. She married Olin Wolfe on April 12, 1952 and he preceded her in death in October of 1989. Shirley had worked as an administrative assistant for the Department of the Navy in Washington D.C., VA Hospital and for the U.S. Fisheries and Wildlife Services at the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge. After retirement, she volunteered at Cass City Memorial Hospital. Shirley loved her family, enjoyed camping and was a wonderful grandmother. Surviving are: three children, Debra (David) Rogers of Canton, GA, LuAnn (Robert) Easlick of Linden, MI, and Duane (Holly) Wolfe of Evart, MI; eight grandchildren, Christopher (Shellee) Rogers, Catheryn (Paul) Odum, Aaron (Enesh) Easlick, Nathanial Easlick, Rebecca (Keith) Humphries, Jonathan (Katie) Easlick, Rachel Wolfe, and Paul (Leslie) Wolfe; 12 great-grandchildren, and a lifetime of loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband; two brothers and a sister. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
