BLACK, David Donald - age 92, of Flint, died May 15, 2022. A funeral service will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 12:30 - 1:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. David was born July 19, 1929 in Flint, the son of David and Elizabeth (Stephenson) Black. He was a graduate of Flint Northern High School. David married Helen Jo Ream on June 28, 1951 and she preceded him in death on October 10, 1995. David retired from Fisher Body after 30 plus years of service as a Master Mechanic. He was a long-time resident of Rose Lake and a member of the Studabaker club owning a 1949 and 1951. Surviving are: sister-in-law, Dolores Black; nieces and nephews, Patricia Boedeck, Thomas (Jennifer) Black, Roxanne (Richard) Eberts, and Joanne (John) Gillett. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Helen Jo Black; four siblings, George, Helen, John, and Earl; and his parents, David and Elizabeth Black. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
