TATE, Mary Marie (Kesel) – Of Flint, age 91, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Sugarbush House.
Visitation will be held 4-8pm Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Private burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on October 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Karl and Mary (Shebesta) Kesel. On August 18, 1951, she married Robert Eldon Tate in Flint. She was employed by the Flint Public Schools for 20 years as a lunch room monitor.
Surviving are children, Cindy (Charles) Mannor and Patti (Gerald) Hicks;
grandchildren, Julie (Peter) Flajszer, Johnathon Mannor, Matthew (Jessi) Hicks and Nicole (Alex) Wells;
and great-grandchildren, Luke, Dylan Flajszer and Marlowe Hicks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, son, Robert II and a brother.
