HYNES - Erba Joyce, age 99 of Flushing, passed away on February 1, 2024. A memorial service will be announced and held at a future date.
Erba was born on October 3, 1924 in Flint, Michigan to the late Porter James and Jessie Adele (Wright) Breckenridge. She worked as a Telephone Operator for Michigan Bell before dedicating herself toward raising her six children. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo and cards.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Sylvia) Hynes of Flushing; Kathleen (Stan) Sharpe of Flushing; Janelle (Dave) Dixon of Flushing; Jeff (Betty) Hynes of Flint; Roxanne Rogier of Swartz Creek. Also surviving are several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. Erba was preceded in death by, parents; husband, Leo; son, Dennis; brothers, Clare Breckenridge and Winifred Breckenridge; sister, Estella Deger.
