GORDON, Ronald Lee – of Davison, MI, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 West Flint Street, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Todd I. Frusti officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, in Lee’s memory.
Lee was born in Atlas, MI on August 28, 1942, son of the late Herbert “Jake” and Leta (Walter) Gordon. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Lee married Barbara Fisher on October 9, 1998 in Goodrich, MI. He retired from Ken’s Redi Mix in 2000 after 33 years of service. Lee enjoyed traveling in his motorhome throughout the U.S. and Canada, hunting, fishing and cross-country motocross. He was a member of the Grand Blanc Huntsman’s Club and Trinity Lutheran Church in Davison, MI. Lee enjoyed relaxing in his garage with a coffee and being the “Neighborhood Watchman”.
Lee is survived by his wife, Barbara Gordon; 2 daughters, Leslie Stewart and Marty (Jason Friskey) Gordon; 2 step-children, Rick (Amy Ross) Fisher and Lisa (Kevin Main) Girardin; 6 grandchildren, Nick, Ashton, Alex, Jenna, Emerson and Anderson; many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Leta Gordon; 2 brothers, Jim Gordon and Bob Gordon.
